Sainsbury's Finance has launched two new credit cards aimed at Nectar Card holders.

The Sainsbury's Nectar Credit Card charges an APR of 12.9 per cent on purchases and balance transfers, while also doubling the Nectar points collected by Sainsbury's shoppers for two years.

Meanwhile, the Sainsbury's Credit Card charges zero per cent APR on both purchases and balance transfers in the first 12 months, with a typical APR of 15.9 per cent coming into effect after this period.

"We are confident our new credit cards will be well received by Sainsbury's shoppers," says Stuart McKeggie, head of Sainsbury's Credit Cards.
