Moneyfacts has announced Marks and Spencer (M&S) has won its award for Best Card Provider (Introductory Rate).

The victors were announced in London on June 11th at a ceremony that rewarded the companies that have consistently offered the best customer service and the most competitive products.

Contributing to the success of the M&S Credit Card was its zero per cent interest on all shopping for ten months from when the account opened.

Colin Kersley, chief executive at M&S, commented: "We are delighted that the M&S credit card has been recognised at the Moneyfacts awards."

He added the product is one of the most attractive currently available on the market.
