Platinum credit card offer unveiled by NatWest and RBS

NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have announced their Platinum credit card is now available online and has an improved balance transfer.

The rate is to stand at zero per cent APR for 16 months following the opening of an account.

It is the most competitive balance transfer deal on the market and offers an introductory zero per cent on purchases for three months, the lending institutions noted.

Hugh Chater, director of everyday banking at the organisations, observed the product is by far their most popular item.

"We know our customers value the flexibility and convenience of having a zero per cent balance transfer facility," he added.
