Barclaycard balance transfer card offers 25 per cent off fees

The Barclaycard balance transfer credit card is now offering 25 per cent off handling fees, when the user has to make more than one balance transfer.
People applying for the product between now and May 3rd 2011, have 60 days to make their balance transfers to be eligible for the offer.
The firm gives the example that a new Barclaycard Platinum customer making a transfer of £3,000 and two subsequent balance transfers of £2,000 will make a total saving of £29, with an effective handling fee of 2.18 per cent.
The 25 per cent discount is also available on the Barclaycard Platinum Purchase Card, which offers 12 months interest free on balance transfers and 12 months zero per cent interest on all purchases.
Barclaycard states it is a leading global payment firm, which helps consumers, retailers and businesses to make and accept payments flexibly and to access short-term credit when needed.
It has 11.2 million UK customers and a further 10.5 million internationally.
