People looking for a new credit card could be tempted to consider the latest deal being offered by Sainsbury's Finance.

The firm, which states it aims to offer consumers rewards for their loyalty, is hoping to attract new customers by providing a welcome bonus of 3,000 Nectar points to those who take out a credit card before May 23rd.

Shoppers will find this provides them a £15 discount the first time they make use of the card in store.

Nectar points will also be granted at a rate of two per £1, equivalent to one per cent cashback, when purchases are made in Sainsbury's supermarkets and fuel stations.

This is as part of the company's Double Nectar points offer, available for the first two years the card is in use.

Individuals may find Sainsbury's Finance products are worth considering as the organisation points out that at the Your Money Awards 2010, it picked up gongs including Best Online Credit Card Provider.
