Barclaycard offers petrol credit for new customers
Barclaycard is offering new customers the chance to earn £30 worth of fuel over the summer.
New Barclaycard customers who use their card to pay for fuel can earn ten per cent cash back, up to a maximum of £30 on all fuel spending made before August 31st 2011.
The offer applies to all new Platinum, Simplicity, Gold and Initial products applied for by new customers online before June 27th 2011. The offer is valid at all petrol stations in the UK.
As an example, a customer that fills up with £50 of petrol every two weeks through June, July and August, spending £300 over the three month period would receive a £30 credit on their September bill.
In addition to this promotion all Barclaycard products have their own reward scheme called Barclaycard Freedom which provides reward money in the form of actual cash which can be used in thousands of retailers and online across the UK.
Barclaycard Platinum holders also receive zero per cent interest on balance transfers for 20 months (though there is a handling fee of between 2.4 and 3.2 per cent of the balance on transfers) and zero per cent interest on purchases for three months.
