Virgin Money credit card offers 0% balance transfer for 12 months

Monday, 17, Jul 2006 04:18

The Virgin Money Credit Card will now offer 12 months interest-free on balance transfers, up from nine months.

The card also offers zero per cent interest on card purchases for an initial period of three months.

After this introductory period runs out, the card charges a standard rate of 15.9 per cent APR - although this varies based on the applicant's credit score.

As well as the interest-free introductorily offers on purchases and balance transfers, the new Virgin Card also earns cardholders Virgin Members Shop reward points which can be redeemed for discounted goods and services from across the Virgin Group and beyond.

The Virgin Members Shop sells things including DVDs, Mobile Phones and Flying lessons - which are available for points, cash or a combination of the two.
