Katie Tucker
Katie Tucker is the technical manager for Mortgageforce, providing all technical and 'Best Buys' rate data on mortgages and the economic environment to their national team of mortgage consultants.
She has been a mortgage advisor and technical manager for six years, and is a regularly quoted personal finance expert, appearing regularly on TV for news, and shows such as The One show, BBC2's Working Lunch and hosting phone-ins on the radio.
As well as writing a fortnightly trade magazine column for two years and hosting a question and answer page on her own website, www.mortgageforce.co.uk, she also writes a topical blog.
Katie's favourite bit of the job is broadcast, and answering consumer questions. She lives in Reading where she spends her spare time renovating and re-upholstering the contents of her house.
Mortgageforce was established 8 years ago, and is now one of the strongest names in broking nationally.
With brokers in 120 locations, Mortagageforce has won numerous awards for its Whole of Market advice. They deal with mortgages, life assurance, illness protection and a wide selection of other products, such as redundancy cover, international mortgages, will writing and personal loans.
