Plans to close loophole and reduce repossessions

The Ministry of Justice wants repossessions loophole closed

Mortgage lenders could soon be forced to obtain a court order and ask the borrower's consent before repossessing a home, under new proposals.

House prices up 0.9% in November

The average price of a house in England and Wales is now £161,554

House prices have made yet another move upwards rising by 0.9 per cent in November compared to the previous month, the latest data reveals.
