Yorkshire unveils new 10-year fixed rate mortgage

It has been confirmed Yorkshire Building Society has launched a new ten-year fixed rate mortgage.

The organisations is trimming 0.30 per cent off the deal for people with a 25 per cent deposit, meaning individuals hoping to move house or re-mortgage can apply for the best-buy deal at 4.99 per cent with a fee of £995.

It will be available to consumers from today (June 11th) onwards.

Product manager for mortgages at the Yorkshire Building Society Tom Girling commented: "This product presents a fantastic opportunity for borrowers looking for long-term value, protection from future interest rate rises and peace of mind."
