Pain 'is likely' for household finances and property

The CML predicts pain for the property market following this week's Budget.

The impact of Tuesday's emergency Budget speech by chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne is likely to see household finances and the property market each feel the pain, according to the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the central provider of market information, statistics and economic information relating to the mortgage sector.
