Yorkshire Building Society has revealed the launch of a new two-year tracker mortgage.

The deal is for loans up to 75 per cent of the property's value.

It tracks at 1.75 per cent above the base rate and has a current pay rate of 2.25 per cent.

The item - available exclusively through moneysupermarket.com - includes a product fee of £995.

Hannah-Mercedes Skenfield, mortgage expert at the website, described the offer as the leading tracker deal for those with a deposit of at least 25 per cent.

She added: "Anyone taking out this product would be taking advantage of this low rate."
