Yorkshire Building Society has slashed mortgage rates for those who have a 15 per cent deposit.

This means the organisation is now offering a three-year fixed-rate deal at 4.59 per cent with a £495 fee.

Also included in the new-look range is a two-year fixed-rate at 3.99 per cent with a £995 fee, as well as a three-year tracker at 3.49 per cent with a £495 fee.

Chris Smith, product manager for mortgages at the building society, said the new suite offers a variety of options to suit the needs of borrowers.

He added: "Our fixed-rate deals offer peace of mind when it comes to mortgage repayments."
