Leeds Building Society has unveiled a new five-year fixed-rate mortgage range.

House prices 'edged higher in July'

The average house price rose to £166,798 in England and Wales during July, according to the Land Registry.

Property prices in England and Wales climbed by 0.4 per cent between June and July, according to the latest figures from the Land Registry.
