Santander cuts rates on fixed-rate mortgages

Santander has slashed rates on its four-year fixed-rate mortgages.

The lender has reduced rates by 0.4 per cent, with a three products available.

Customers can choose from a four-year fixed-rate mortgage with a rate of 4.99 per cent available up to 70 per cent loan-to-value (LTV).

The product is also open to those looking to remortgage and homebuyer clients.

A homebuyer loan available up to 75 per cent LTV at a fixed-rate of 4.99 per cent is also part of the new reduced package.

The third option is a four-year fixed-rate deal with a rate of 5.29 per cent available up to 75 per cent LTV for those looking to remortgage.
