Two new fixed-rate mortgages have been launched by The Co-operative Bank and Britannia.

The products will be available from tomorrow (May 26th) and are being offered as a two-year, fixed-rate mortgage at 2.95 per cent and a five-year, fixed-rate mortgage at 3.99 per cent.

John Hughes, business leader of retail products for The Co-operative Financial Services, believes that they are offering "extremely attractive" rates alongside "consistently high" levels of customer service.

He added: "The new products form part of our wider mortgage range . [which] offers something for everyone".

A 75 per cent loan-to-value is available on each new mortgage and an application fee of £999 applies.
