Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks cut £999 mortgage arrangement fees

Wednesday, 04 January 2012 12:47

The Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks have launched a new fee-free range of mortgage products that is available from today, January 4th 2012.

The banks have eliminated arrangement fees for customers looking to remortgage or switching to the banks before February 25th 2012.

The current arrangement fee is £999, so all new mortgage borrowers will save this amount compared to the cost of the previous products.

Customers who switch from another lender will also benefit from no legal or valuation fees if they use a Clydesdale or Yorkshire Banks’ appointed solicitor.

Steve Reid, Retail Director for Clydesdale Bank, said: "At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers.

"Our fee free mortgage is designed to help people find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs without having to pay an arrangement fee."

Find a mortgage that fits your circumstances.
