The Yorkshire Building Society has released four new mortgage products aimed at borrowers with high levels of equity.

The products, which include two new offset mortgages, are available from Friday October 26th in branch, online or over the telephone.

The products include a two-year fixed rate mortgage at 2.39 per cent that comes with a fee of £1,295.

Yorkshire Building Society is also releasing a five-year fixed rate mortgage with an interest rate of 2.99 per cent. This also has a product fee of £1,295.

Offset alternatives are available for each product and charge interest at 0.20 per cent more than the non-offset equivalents.

Chris Smith, Yorkshire Building Society Group Direct Mortgage Manager, said: "For house buyers with a 40% deposit or home owners remortgaging, this provides a very competitive deal.

"Increasing the number of LTV levels at which we offer competitive products allows us to support an even wider range of people to buy or remortgage."
