Brits missing out on credit card deals

Two credit card holders in three are signing up to attractive deals and then not claiming their benefits, new figures show.
Data from the Post Office reveals 60 per cent of credit card holders do not use their card's benefits, with half receiving nothing at all.
And the position is not much improved for those who do claim their rewards, with this group netting just £37 cashback a year.
"Not everyone uses their card in the same way and to the best effect," said Post Office managing director Alan Cook.
As well as not claiming the benefits they are entitled to, Post Office research shows at least six in ten people would stay with their credit cards if they found one offering long-term value across the board.
As to what Britons want their credit card to do for them - the most valued features on a card are low interest rates, 0% on balance transfers and 0% on purchases.
