Pension funds spread thinner than ever

Pension pots will have to be spread thinner than ever to cover increased lifespans

Increased lifespans mean people need to have more in their pension pot to provide for their retirement.

NPC: Basic state pension must be raised

The basic state pension should be raised forthwith, the NPC has said

The basic state pension is in urgent need of an increase, the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) has said.
