JPJShare launches SIPP with no annual fees

Tuesday, 12 July 2011 01:07

JPJShare.com has released a new self-invested personal pension (SIPP) plan with no annual fees.

The Isle of Man-based stock broker believes the move could challenge the existing market for this type of product, as it says the majority of providers levy charges of more than £200 a year.

JPJShare.com's eSIPP is also free to set up and there are no transaction fees for unit trusts and open-ended investment companies (OEICs).

Investors can buy and sell London Stock Exchange and Alternative Investment Market shares at £5.75 online and from £7.50 for telephone orders

Commenting on the launch of the new eSIPP, JPJShare.com chairman Tom Winnifrith said: "Our new SIPP offering demonstrates our commitment to providing value for investors, having already launched the lowest cost share dealing service in the British Isles and our £0 ISA offering."

"We will continue to do this by negotiating further discounts on fund entry prices and maintaining our own low prices across the board."
