The AA has launched a new easy access savings account that pays interest of three per cent on balances higher than £10,000.

From today anyone taking out Alliance & Leicester's Premier Current Account can open a market-leading regular saver account paying 12% interest.

What is more, people recommending a friend to this deal receive £25 each.
