Earn up to £300 with Lloyds TSB recommendation scheme

Lloyds TSB is offering their customers a chance to earn themselves up to £300 through their new 'recommend a friend' scheme.

The scheme offers customers a £30 cash reward for every person they get to switch their current account to the bank, for up to ten friends.

The new customer must then pay-in at least £500 a month for three of the first four months which the account is open. These friends will also have £30 deposited into their new Lloyds TSB account after fulfilling the required terms.

As an extra incentive, those who switch current accounts before October 9th 2007 and open a Plus account will receive 6.4 per cent (6.22 per cent gross variable) credit interest for the first year of the account on balances up to £2,500, before the account reverts to a 4.25 per cent rate. The account requires customers to pay in £1,000 a month.

Lloyds TSB also offers its customers instant interest on the cheques they pay-in and is the only bank to offer customers a 'Save the Change' facility, where the change from card payments is automatically paid into a savings account.
