Sainsbury's Finance is offering new life insurance customers the equivalent of up to two per cent off their shopping for two years when they use their Nectar card.

Tesco Savings is offering new customers up to 2,000 Clubcard points - the equivalent of £20 off shopping or £80 off deals.

The offer is open until April 2nd and 2,000 points will be awarded for savers with over £50,000 in their accounts.

Those with over £5,000 will get 1,500 points, savers with £3,000 will be awarded 1,000 points and those with £1,000 will be offered 500 points.

The Tesco Instant Access Savings Account offers 4.35 per cent gross/AER for savings up to £3,000 and the rate rises to 5.5 per cent gross AER for savings over £50,000.

Interest is paid monthly of annually, customers can deposit cash at Tesco stores.
