£100 offered to switch to Alliance & Leicester

Alliance & Leicester is providing another chance for people to receive a £100 cash bonus for switching to its Premier Current Account.

Anyone who missed the deadline for the previous offer now has two weeks to sign up to the account, which offers an interest-free overdraft with no usage fees for 12 months, and receive the cash.

A 0.5 per cent in credit interest rate for balances up to £2,500 and free annual European travel insurance are also included as features of the current account.

Helen Palmer, head of current accounts for Santander, of which Alliance & Leicester is part, said: "This time-limited offer is good news for those looking to switch their current account, but people must act quickly, as this is available online for two weeks only."

The deal is available from November 30th until midnight on Sunday, December 13th and can only be obtained online.
