Money master class for young Abbey clients
Young Abbey customers are being offered the chance to boost their financial skills with the help of an England rugby star.
England and Wasps player, Danny Cipriani, is one of the mentors on a new Master Class Programme which aims to help young people starting out on their chosen career to make the most of their money.
The Premier 21 Master Class is being run by Alliance & Leicester and the opportunity to win a place on the programme is now being opened to young people holding an Abbey 16 to 18 or student bank account
The lucky customers chosen for the scheme will benefit from support from high profile mentors, information via podcasts and online tips.
Mr Cipriani will host the sports master class in July, as well as other professionals who will give advice on breaking into the sports industry.
He said: "When I was young, I knew I wanted to play rugby and my mum was my biggest mentor and supporter.
"Whatever career path people take, it is important to know what options are available."
