Investec: High 5 savings account at 3.2%

Investec Private Bank is promoting their High 5 savings account at 3.2 per cent gross per annum after its own research indicated several "best buy" accounts have been dropping rates.

The High 5 account pays the average of the five highest savings rates in the market.

Minimum deposit for the account is £25,000 and the rate, which can be paid and capitalised monthly or annually, is updated each week.

"With over one in ten UK adults estimated to have more than £25,000 deposited in cash savings accounts, it's crucial that savers check that their bank or building society is paying a consistently competitive rate of interest," said head of banking at Investec, Linda McBain.

She added: "Through our High 5 Account, we aim to provide clients with some of the most consistently and transparent rates in the savings marketplace."
