Tesco: Half price home insurance

Tesco Personal Finance is offering half price home insurance as part of a range of summer discounts.

Other bargains include a £40 gift certificate with Tesco car insurance, 35 per cent off pet insurance, 1,500 free club card points and free addition of children on family travel insurance.

The home insurance offer is available to first year customers who buy a policy online or by phone before September 16th 2009. It includes Standard, Value and Finest Insurance products but excludes buy to let cover.

Customers who have a Tesco instant access savings account will receive further home insurance discounts. Before September 17th, new account users can gain up to 1,500 free club card points based on their October 7th cleared balance.

Club card points may be redeemed for vouchers, reward tokens or partner reward deals.

Tesco's rewards for new users of pet or car insurance are available to standard or value policy holders who sign up online while family travel insurance holders can add up to four children without cost before September 16th.
