F&C helps a 'new generation of savers'

F&C has partnered up with the specialist parenting website, iChild.co.uk, to provide financial tips for mums, dads and children.

The Child Trust Fund provider is offering information on budgeting, pocket money and financial education on the website which will slot alongside the child development content and activity sheets already on the site.

F&C will provide an introduction to other savings options available such as stock market-linked products and pensions.

And anyone using the website can also gain advice on how to choose, top up or switch a Child Trust Fund.

Phil Bird, director of iChild, said: "We are delighted with the partnership with F&C as we are now able to provide excellent financial information and guidance to our members.

"Plus we can educate a new generation of savers, with excellent children's activities that parents can download from the website."

The tips are tailored to provide support from parents of children in five main age groups - zero to 12 months, one to three years, five to seven years and seven to 11 years.
