Nationwide Building Society has launched a series of cash ISAs, including its new Champion ISA which pays up to 2.5 per cent gross AER each year.

Also among the range is the e-ISA with a 2.75 per cent gross, while the lender has unveiled several fixed-rate products.

The highlight of the fixed-rate ISAs is the three-year deal which pays 4.4 per cent gross.

Michelle Slade, spokesperson for Moneyfacts.co.uk, said that the flagship Champion ISA is a very attractive vehicle for consumers looking to make their funds go further.

"With today's hectic lifestyles, shopping around for the best rates can be difficult. This is why the Champion ISA could help savers make the most of their money, as it automatically tracks the interest rates from a basket of eight key competitors," she added.
