'Preferential exchange rates' for Sainsbury's nectar card holders

Sainsbury's Travel Money is rewarding its customers who have and use a nectar card.

They are to be given preferential exchange rates on foreign currency and purchases that are made in the supermarket's in-store Travel Money Bureaux.

The offer will run throughout the summer and customers will receive, on average, around EUR 9.09 (£7.63) when exchanging £450.

Scott Gorman, head of the department, noted the organisation wants its customers' cash to stretch that little bit further when they go on vacation.

"We're pleased to be able to give our customers preferential exchange rates when they use their nectar card," the expert added.
