New five-year bond at Leeds Building Society

Wednesday, 09 February 2011 01:34

Leeds Building Society has launched a five-year fixed-rate escalator bond paying returns of upto six per cent in year five.

In addition to this, the account allows unlimited access to 25 per cent of the initial amount invested at any time, without notice or penalty and also provides a monthly interest option for customers who require an income.

"The ability to lock into a rising guaranteed return, combined with instant access to some of the funds at any time, is very attractive," said Leeds' sales and marketing director Kim Rebecchi.

The account pays a guaranteed return of 3.25 per cent in the first two years, four per cent and five per cent in years three and four rising to six per cent in the final year.
