JPMorgan reveals investment opportunities

The number of high-yielding investments available from global markets is growing.

According to findings by JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust, there are around four times more liquid stocks with high-yields on offer across emerging markets than there are for firms based in the UK.

Commenting on the findings, manager of the JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust Richard Titherington said: "Our data reveals there are substantially more high-yielding stocks available across a universe of up to 3,500 stocks compared with a universe of over 800 UK domiciled companies of similar liquidity."

He added the growth provides greater opportunities for income and a healthy diversification.

David Barron, head of Investment Trusts at JPMorgan Asset Management stated the company aims to meet increased demand with the introduction of conversion shares.

The firm suggests its investment trust has between 50 and 80 diverse stocks from across a broad range of countries.
